The 2026/27 season sees Old Albanian RFC’s 1st XV continue its proud tradition of competing at National League level, building on more than a decade of senior rugby at the highest levels of the English club game.

Since earning promotion to National League Two South in 2009/10, Old Albanian has established itself as a respected and ambitious National League club. The 1st XV has competed in National League One and Two, consistently challenging itself against some of the strongest clubs in the country.

Woollams has welcomed an impressive mix of players and coaches over the years — from talented youngsters who have developed through the club’s pathway, to experienced players and international talent. Our strong relationship with the Saracens has also helped provide a pathway for emerging players to experience senior rugby and develop their careers.

The focus now is firmly on the 2026/27 season — developing our own talent, competing at the highest level possible and continuing to build a club that our players, members and supporters can be proud of.

Old Albanian RFC is about more than the 1st XV. It is about creating an environment where every player, from the youngest age group through to our senior squads, feels part of the club and has the opportunity to develop, compete and succeed.
