Westcombe Park took the win with a try from a tap penalty from the last play of the game for Tom Webster, successfully converted by Nathan Wyman to come away with the win. Atrocious conditions with a strong wind driving rain down the pitch always meant this was going to be a game of two halves. OA had the wind at their backs in the first half and score two tries. The first came from an attacking lineout 22 meters out the ball was thrown to the front and hooker Charlie Fleckney took a return pass from his throw and went over in the left corner. The second from a OA scrum following a yellow card for Park which left them a one short in the forwards OA used the advantage and number 8 Barnaby Merrett picked up from the base to score. 10-0 at half time, many though that with the wind this wasn’t enough of a lead and so it proved. First a break down the left led to a try for Calum Harris. Wyman converted. Then the games only score against the conditions came as OA broke from the back of a scrum and Ben Alexander stepped the defence to score. Sam Jones converted. Park came back and Ben Richards burrowed over in the left corner 17-12. It seemed OA would hold on until the final minute tap penalty.
