U10’s Reds win League B at Bedford

OA Reds U10s had a successful day in sunny Bedford winning the League B and coming home with our first piece of silverware of the new season.  The Reds started off the day strongly with a 4-0 win against Bedford and 7-0 win against Harpenden.  Concentration slipped before lunch as the Reds lost 4-2 to Hemel.  After a free bap each courtesy of Bedford RUFC, the boys returned to form with a 7-0 win over another Bedford team.  With 3 wins out of 4 and Hemel having lost to Old Scouts, the Reds went into the final game having to beat Old Scouts by 2 clear scores to win league B.  The boys were fired up and tackled their hearts out giving the Old Scouts very little opportunity to break the Red’s line.  The Reds kept the ball alive well in attack and ran out comfortable 4-1 winners and top League B.  Top try scorers for the Reds on the day were Liam and Toby.  Top tacklers were Cian and Leo.  Congrats to all the Reds squad!  reds bedford
