OA Saints Junior Girls – Player Pathway Success

Following on from the 2013/2014 Herts County representative success, the OA’s Girls again did themselves proud, with 13 girls been selected for Herts County U15 & U18 squads;

U18 –Hayley Everett- Captained her team to a 3rd successive Divisional Title and remained unbeaten this season, the team was also represented by: Faye Coregan, Sophie Benson, Tori Kiff, Jade Clarke, Emily Bentley and Alexandra Bentley. Olivia Almond was injured for the most part of the county season but recovered in time to stamp her mark and again be included in the Divisional/ Academy Team along with Hayley Everett. Holly Brando made a late return to rugby after her success at basketball and impressed enough to be included with Olivia in the England Girls U18 Talent Development Group (TDG) for the 2015/16 season as well as both been selected for the England U18’s 7’s training squad for selection to play at the European U18’s in Sept 2015, we wish them everything of the best.

Our U15’s; Heather Addison, Kelsey Clifford, Abigail Morgan, Tyler Jones & Alyssa Simmonds all received County call ups and helped their Hertfordshire County team to a very good season, narrowly losing to Kent and thus finishing 3rd in the Divisional tournament but winning their next 2 fixtures very comfortably. 5 members of our Hertford cluster; Elizabeth Timpson, Bethan Eyre, Beckii Crosby, Megan Learmonth and Jess Miller also represented Herts County U15 and 2 Harlow girls; Katie Boggas; Herts County & Divisional/ Academy Team while Rosie Bennett– played for Essex.
