Busy October and November for OA’s u9’s!

The 75 strong age group have competed in 9 festivals in since the start of the season all over the north home counties , send‎ing 13 sides of 10 players and scooping 5 trophies plus qualifying for the prestigious Allianz Champions Cup which will be held in april ahead of the Saracens v Leicester game. Pride of place goes to winning the recent regional Lexus heat for the 2nd season running and the players and coaches look forward to another tilt at the national title in april when they will be up against 7 of the strongest mini rugby clubs in the country.

The age group also had their first “international‎” trip and their visit to Cardiff at half term was a great success . OA’s u9’s sent 2 competitive teams to South Wales and where hosted by Llandaff ‎RFC, a strong club with a proud history and good connections to OAJRFC.

The ‎players have started the transition from tag to contact rugby well. They have lots to look forward to and will be competing in the ADVW Development Cup in December at Allianz Park, ahead of the sarries v london welsh try fest.
